All cabins are on a self-catering basis. They are fitted out to an exceptionally high standard with modern conveniences. Set in mountain forest, all cabins have a view of the valley and the Sognefjord.

Ortnevik is two and half hours north of Bergen, on the south side of the Sognefjord. It is a typical picturesque Norwegian village sitting by the fjord at the foot of the Stølsheimen National Park.

There is a village shop and an express ferry which is ideal if you want to go and see a bit more of the surrounding area. There are mountains, lakes and waterfalls, incredible scenery and a peaceful environment.

Mountain and forest walking trails, fishing, rowing, a dip in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the Sognefjord. Maybe just what you are looking for?

Possible day trips (in summer) include Vik, Voss, Flåm, Fjærland (glacier and glacier museum), outer Sognefjord and Bergen.
